Come discover a superb family estate, surprising by its diversity and the quality of its products!
The SAINT-HILAIRE Castle, Cru Bourgeois, is the story of a meeting between Adrien Uijttewaal, a young enthusiast of land and agriculture, with a unique terroir: the Médoc. Of Dutch origin, Adrien chose to settle in Queyrac, with his wife Fabienne. He plants his first vines on excellent gravel and his herd of traditional cows, Blondes of Aquitaine, on particularly fertile natural meadows.
Since their first vintage in 1995, Adrien and Fabienne have focused on the quality of their products and environmental sustainability. They cultivate the vineyard of 60 ha in sustainable agriculture under the label TERRA VITIS and lead the breeding under that of "The Signature of Girondins Breeders". They have also been able to pass on their traditional values and know-how to their daughter Elise, who has returned to their side for love of the trade.
This family invites you to a moment of sharing and discovering their universe in all simplicity. On the program: guided tour of the winery and cellars in barrels, fenced by a delicious wine tasting, all rewarded with many distinctions. The itinerary of discovery is adapted to the children who are associated with the visit and have a dedicated space during the tasting!
