Founded in 1996, the Music University Hourtin Médoc, promotes the meeting and exchange between the various cultural, artistic and tourist circles, in particular by organizing every year the Hourtin Médoc International Music Academy. Spring in a natural setting, on the edge of the largest freshwater lake in France. The International Academy of Music is open to all, students or amateurs, with no age limit. It offers exceptional conditions to take full advantage of quality education enabling trainees, supervised by teachers from prestigious French and foreign superior conservatories, to prepare for competitions at national or international level, but also for amateurs to perfect the practice of their instrument.
