Conférence ” Concert littéraire Variations Glenn Gould”

A conference presented by Frédéric Boutoulle entitled "Eleanor of Aquitaine" Eleanor of Aquitaine, also known as Eleanor of Aquitaine or Guyenne was in turn Queen of France, then Queen of England. Duchess of Aquitaine and countess of Poitiers, she occupies a central place in the relations between the kingdoms of France and England in the twelfth century: she successively married the king of France Louis VII (1137), then Henry Plantagenet (1152), future king of England Henry II, thus reversing the relationship of forces by bringing his lands to one then the other of the two sovereigns. At the lavish court she holds in Aquitaine, she promotes the poetic expression of troubadours in langue d'oc. From her first marriage (during which she participated in the Second Crusade), she plays an important political role in medieval Europe.
