The end of the Médoc region is home to a very rich and varied natural environment. Just a stone's throw from the busy ocean beaches, the Saint Nicolas dune offers a very beautiful beach with lifeguards in summer.
This ecologically rich environment with its splendid views of the Cordouan lighthouse hides another lighthouse, that of Saint Nicolas (which cannot be visited).
The CPIE Médoc proposes to take the time to enjoy this coastline in a different way thanks to a programme of visits to the dune belt in summer.
