Under the south-western sun, it’s time to relax and unwind during the day onone of Lacanau Océan’s beaches. Choose the central beach if you’re looking for some atmosphere. Choose the south beach for more peace and quiet. The surfers in the group will have a field day here, while those who prefer to laze around will be able to catch up with the world from their towels between two shopping sessions. It’s great to do nothing with friends, but still be able to party whenever you feel like it! Dozens of bars are open every day and at all hours, offering a wide choice of drinks and snacks. Because on holiday, you don’t really have timetables, do you?

The end of the day in La Canaul has all the colours of paradise… With your feet in the sand, seated just a few metres from the ocean, the beach bars look like exotic shacks, inviting you to enjoy the daily spectacle of the sun setting over the Atlantic. You’ll feel right at home with your mates, a Virgin Mojito in hand and some great lounge music in the background!
At Happy Hour, the atmosphere gets even more frenetic as students flock to drink with friends at bargain prices. At 7pm, along the Allées Pierre Ortal and the seafront, the first concerts begin and the atmosphere varies from bar to bar. Latin rhythms here, 80s craziness there, the latest electro hits further afield: you’ll be spoilt for choice to make the aperitif* last over a few tapas before heading to one of the many restaurants with ocean views.
