An exhibition of Raku ceramics by Nicole Brard.
From 5 to 16 October 2026, the Municipal Media Centre will host Nicole Brard, a Raku ceramicist, for an exhibition dedicated to this unique art form combining earth and fire.
A member of the SMAC Collective – Synergies Médocaines des Artistes Créateurs – Nicole Brard works with Raku ceramics, a Japanese firing technique that gives the pieces unique effects, nuances and crackle patterns. Each piece thus bears the marks of the encounter between clay, glaze and fire.
An exhibition inviting you to discover a world where the material and the firing process take centre stage, and where each piece reveals its own character.
Opening reception on Wednesday 7 October at 6.00 pm
Free admission from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm, and on Saturdays from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.
Come and discover the work of this artist from the Médoc and chat with her at the opening.
