Canéo - Inter-neighbourhood shuttle bus in Lacanau

Inter-neighbourhood shuttle buses, designed to make your daily journeys in Lacanau easier.

The Town of Lacanau, in partnership with the Médoc Atlantique Community of Communes and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, is pleased to announce the official launch of Caneo,

the new mobility and inter-neighbourhood shuttle bus service, designed to make your daily journeys easier.

Le Lien: first line in service

The first service set up as part of Canéo is called Le Lien.
It connects Lacanau Ville (the town centre) and Lacanau Océan, with 10 stops identical to those on the existing regional line.

It operates continuously from Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays) from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm.

Single tickets are available for €2 per journey (cash only, please have the exact amount ready).

If you do not have a season ticket, you can purchase a ticket on board, directly from the driver.

Who can purchase a season ticket?

Season tickets are available to all residents of Lacanau and the municipalities of the Médoc Atlantique Community of Municipalities.

To qualify, simply present a recent proof of address from among the following documents:

Electricity, water or gas bill, tax notice, rent receipt in your name, home insurance certificate

The document must be in the applicant's name and show an address located in one of the 13 municipalities of the CDC.

The Pass Jeunes Mobilité subscription (6-17 years old) is issued upon presentation of the family record book, in order to confirm the relationship between the child and the legal representative.

Annual subscription (valid from 1 January to 31 December)

To celebrate its launch, enjoy up to two and a half months free for any subscription taken out before 31 December 2025!

Prices:

0-5 years old: Free, without a travel pass

6-17 years old: £12/year

18 years and over: £24/year

How to subscribe?

Go to the reception desk at Lacanau Town Hall from 10 October with:

Proof of identity
Proof of address (see accepted documents above)
A passport photo taken in the current year
Payment by card, cheque or cash (with the exact amount)
