Lovers of wide open spaces and authentic sites, come and discover a 380-hectare wine estate located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, near the village of Saint-Julien and the Bac de Lamarque/Blaye ferry crossing. A unique and timeless place with two magnificent 19th-century châteaux.

VISIT TO THE HORSE MUSEUM (1 hour):

A journey back in time to discover family horse-drawn carriages, a complete tack room and period stables with marble feeding troughs.

VISIT TO THE VINEYARD (1 hour):

With your guide, you will discover the vineyard, the grape varieties and the winemaking process, and enter a world of flavours during a barrel tasting (*). (Tasting of berries in season on the vines of the Jardin des Cépages).
Guided tour with commentary.

(*) 2 to 6 people max: Tasting of the wine of the year from the barrel, followed by 2 wines.

MUSEUM AND VINEYARD TOUR (1 hour):

Want to enjoy the full Lanessan experience? This package is for you! Discover the facilities dedicated to horses (stables, tack rooms) and wine (wine cellars, barrel cellars).
Guided tour with commentary and tasting of three wines.

VERTICAL TASTING (1 hour 15 minutes):

Taste the estate's fine wine, Château Lanessan, through three successive vintages. Discover the effect of the vintage, the influence of the climate on the wine, and the work of the winemaker and cellar master. This workshop will give you an understanding of the different choices involved in vinification, barrel ageing and blending.
Guided tour of the estate included.

WINE AND CHOCOLATE GOURMET WORKSHOP (2 hours):

Discover the vineyard and the cellar where the wines are made, with a guided tour. Gourmet workshop on the art of tasting and food and wine pairings. Artisanal chocolates from the Médoc region selected to accompany the estate's wines.
Test your senses, as a couple or with friends. This workshop can also be adapted for children with syrups.
Price including VAT: £30/adult, £15/child (aged 8 to 18).
