Concert at La Java: Jon Joubert
La Java welcomes Jon Joubert on Wednesday 1 July from 8pm to 10pm for a Carte Blanche evening dedicated to reggae, soul and groove.
A well-known figure on the Bordeaux music scene, Jon Joubert is a guitarist, singer and member of several bands, including Booboo’zzz All Stars, Basherz and The Jouby’s. He has made a name for himself in particular through his covers of pop and French chanson classics, reimagined in original reggae arrangements.
Accompanied by his guitar, the artist will take the audience on a musical journey blending Jamaican standards, unexpected covers and original compositions, carried by his soulful voice and warm sounds.
This Carte Blanche may also have a few surprises in store as the evening unfolds, with the possible participation of friends and fellow musicians.
