Evening sailing experience on a two-masted boat

Every Thursday evening, hop aboard the ECO 90, a 9-meter two-masted communal sailboat, for a two-hour outing (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) on Lake Carcans, departing from the CVBCM at the Domaine de Bombannes.

Accompanied by a certified instructor, you’ll gently discover the joys of sailing in an exceptional natural setting, enhanced by the colors of the setting sun. Depending on your preferences and skill level, you can simply enjoy the ride or participate in various maneuvers: using the jib and mainsail, handling the helm, and learning the basics of navigation.

Particularly stable and comfortable, this sailboat can safely accommodate up to 10 people.
The activity is open to everyone: beginners, people with disabilities, or sailors looking to improve their skills. A friendly experience, ideal for learning to sail while discovering the hidden treasures of France’s largest natural freshwater lake.

At sunset, Lake Carcans reveals a particularly peaceful atmosphere. From the Domaine de Bombannes, set sail alongside a passionate skipper to discover its landscapes in a whole new way.

This introductory course is designed for people with little or no sailing experience. Whether you’re on your own, with family, with friends, or joining a small group, you’ll discover the basics of sailing at your own pace in a friendly atmosphere.
You’ll gradually get to know the boat and learn to help steer it, all while enjoying the thrill of gliding across the water and the feeling of freedom.
A few simple balance and mobility exercises will help you quickly feel at ease on board and fully enjoy this introduction to sailing.

Groups of at least 5 and no more than 10 people

Pre-registration is required, either by phone or in person at the club’s reception desk. Departure will be confirmed on Thursday at noon by phone or text message to those who have pre-registered.
