Exhibition ‘Two Perspectives on Indonesia’ from 23 March to 13 April 2027 in Lacanau Océan.

As part of the Printemps des Arts de l’Image festival, Marion Parent and Alain Schroeder present two unique perspectives on Indonesia through two photographic series. In “Les engloutis”, Marion Parent explores the environmental challenges facing Jakarta, a metropolis threatened by rising sea levels. In “Living for Death”, Alain Schroeder immerses us in the heart of the Toraja people’s funeral traditions and offers a sensitive account of a relationship with death that is deeply rooted in the local culture.

The exhibition opens on Saturday 27 March at 6.00 pm, and the film *Fotocourt* will be screened at the L’Escoure cinema on Saturday 10 April from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
