Forum – Healthy Ageing: Adapted physical activity, ageing and neurodegenerative diseases
On Monday, November 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Lacanau community center will host the third edition of the “Healthy Aging” forum, dedicated to adapted physical activity, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Organized by the Centre de Ressources Territorial Nord Bassin Océan, a division of the Pavillon de la Mutualité – VYV 3, in partnership with the City of Lacanau, this event is aimed at people over the age of 60, with or without neurodegenerative conditions, as well as their loved ones and caregivers.
This year’s event will explore the benefits of adapted physical activity on well-being, independence, and quality of life. It will also provide a better understanding of how sports activities can be adapted to meet individual needs.
On the program:
- a lecture by Dr. Véronique Lagrange-Cressot, a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation;
- a roundtable discussion on the benefits of adapted physical activity;
- workshops and demonstrations of adapted sports;
- a partner village where attendees can meet local stakeholders, learn more, and exchange ideas.
An afternoon dedicated to information, discussion, and discovering solutions that promote adapted physical activity and help maintain independence.
