Franck Collin Sculpture et Photographie
On the shores of Lacanau lake, Franck Collin's home and studio opens the doors to a unique artistic universe, inspired by nature and its history. Heir to a line of Médoc resin workers and fishermen, he has transformed the family home at Le Moutchic into a creative and exhibition space.
His artistic approach is rooted in a surprising discovery: petrified roots, thousand-year-old remains buried at the bottom of the lake and shaped by water, wind and time. These natural forms become the raw material for his sculptures, which he sometimes combines with marble and stones collected during his travels. Each work plays between rough and polished, revealing colour, texture and movement.
In addition to his work as a sculptor, Franck Collin also shares his spiritual approach and teaches meditation, in a continuum between art, contemplation and the inner quest.
