Heritage Days – Closing event for the ‘Instants du Littoral’ exhibition

As part of Heritage Days, the closing event for the open-air exhibition “Instant du Littoral” will take place at the entrance to La Forestière Beach (South Beach), from 5.30 pm.

The summer exhibition organised by the Kalani association will conclude with a closing event open to the public. On this occasion, an auction will be held to raise funds for the town’s children.

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, European Heritage Days will offer a programme of guided tours, exhibitions, talks, performances and activities in Lacanau.

Throughout the weekend, the public will be able to explore sites steeped in history – some of which will be open exceptionally for the occasion – and gain a better understanding of the local heritage in all its forms.
Under the theme ‘Heritage at Risk’, this year’s event will also celebrate the bicentenary of photography. An opportunity to explore, share and raise awareness of the importance of preserving this shared heritage, which bears witness to our collective memory.
