Le Verdon - Soulac tourist train
The little tourist train PGVS takes you on a 7km journey through the pine and oak forest along the Atlantic coast. It links the seaside resorts of Le Verdon-sur-Mer and Soulac-sur-Mer. All along the way, you can admire the Charente coastline and the Cordouan lighthouse, a listed monument since 1862 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 24 July 2021.
Today, 11,000 to 12,000 people are transported each year. Payment on board the train. No reservations possible (except for groups, minimum 15 people).
