Play: ‘Married at Any Cost’.
Saturday 20 February at 6.30 pm, Salle Notre-Dame: Theatre: “Married at Any Cost”, a comedy written and directed by
Nicolas Hirgair.
Money doesn’t buy happiness, but can happiness buy money?
That’s a maxim that could well apply to Antoine Humbert, a teacher in a Z.E.P. (priority education zone) who’s a tad misogynistic and who,
in the hope of claiming his grandfather’s inheritance, will have to find his soulmate and get married in less than ten days.
Mission impossible? That would be to underestimate Corinne Monge, the grandfather’s domestic helper, who will do everything – for better or for worse – to help him rise to the challenge. A true Saint Bernard of the heart, she will spare neither her efforts nor poor Antoine in order to achieve her goal: to marry him off at any cost.
