Here we find the carefree, frivolous spirit of an era when fashion oscillated between luxury and a desire for lightness. Boas, canotiers, fans, parasols, long dresses and suits rub shoulders with rompers, the first swimming costumes and pilots’ bibs. So get your costume ready! Programme of events

Throughout the weekend, Soulac-sur-Mer is immersed in a Belle Époque atmosphere, with over 300 performers taking to the streets: musicians, dancers, circus performers, vintage vehicles, a traditional market, a pop-up farm, pony rides, artists’ workshops, exhibitions and entertainment throughout the town.

The market of yesteryear

Lace, old-fashioned merry-go-rounds and delicacies from another era – it’s great to stroll down the aisles of this market. You can buy a beautiful boater for the beach, look for a costume or prepare for the next edition ?

Street entertainment

There’s a performance of every kind around every corner! At the bend in the road, you’ll come across a singer, on the podium on the beach, you’ll dance to the sound of an orchestra and even in the restaurant, you’ll be carried away by a funny scene performed by two comedians and you’ll quickly get hooked. The old car collectors are also there for the occasion, and follow the horns as they rock Soulac-sur-Mer.
