A number of surf schools in Carcans cater for beginners and advanced surfers, offering courses to suit all levels. Among them, the Carcans Océan Surf Club (COSC) offers group lessons for children aged 6 and over, teenagers and adults, from April to October. Since 1984, the COSC has also been a pioneer in welcoming the disabled, promoting diversity and sharing. Les Loubines surf school, 100% local, offers courses from beginner to competition level, as well as bodyboard lessons and equipment hire. For a more intimate experience, the “La Sud” surf school offers lessons for everyone, from 6 to 88 years old, in a friendly and professional atmosphere.
