Musée du phare de Cordouan & des Phares et Balises

Museum presenting in five rooms, the Cordouan lighthouse, the lighthouses of the Gironde, the equipment used by the lighthouse and beacon service, past and present, and a 3D animation of the Cordouan lighthouse through the ages from 1611 to the present day.
At the top of the lighthouse, a gallery with an orientation table to locate the surrounding monuments and tourist sites.
In the garden, presentation of the "Matelier" launch which was in charge of the Cordouan lighthouse from 1962 to 2006.

Note: in 2021, the museum is undergoing work, but access to the tower is possible.
