Popular with holidaymakers, the municipal campsite is ideally situated on the edge of the ocean on the sand dune. It is the only campsite of its kind on this part of the coast and offers a relaxing setting for your holidays, in the peace and quiet of nature. Just 10 km from the town centre, the beach at Le Pin Sec is reputed to be one of the most beautiful on the Côte d’Argent. Wild and authentic, it stretches as far as the eye can see, with no buildings on the horizon. The sunsets are breathtaking…
You’ll come across plenty of surfers here, on the other side of the dune the 100% natural Pin Sec campsite hosts memorable surf-camps. But that’s not all! The Naujac Bus Camp is also in full “Médoc Dreamin'” mode, with almost 150 1ʳᵉ generation Volkswagen combis coming together to enjoy vanlife in the vast open spaces of the Médoc Atlantique. The image of vintage combis by the ocean and the friendly atmosphere of this large community give it a Californian accent. With the epicurean spirit of the Médoc to boot !
Camping du Pin Sec is the only campsite you’ll find on this protected part of the Atlantic coast. Families will appreciate its restful calm.

California in the Médoc has its own 66 Road! As you take the only inland road leading to the beach, you find yourself in the middle of the forest. But you’ll soon want to switch off the engine. Kilometres of footpaths and cycle tracks offer you the authentic, natural face of Naujac-sur-Mer on a plate: opt for gentle mobility and try to spot one of the many deer frolicking between the pines as you do! Naujac-sur-Mer is also at the crossroads of two major routes: the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela, via the Voie Littorale, and the Vélodyssée, also known as the Atlantic Coast Route, a major cycle route running from Roscoff to Hendaye in France.
