40th Lacanau Wind Trophy & Fête de la musique
The Lacanau Wind Trophy invites wind and water sports enthusiasts to Moutchic Beach in Lacanau on 20 and 21 June from 10.00 am. For this 40th edition, the event is being rebranded as the ‘Lacanau Wiind Trophix’ and is setting sail for Egypt in the company of Asterix and Obelix!
Two days of regattas and good cheer
On the lake, the competition promises to be exciting and fun, with two days of regattas in the form of team heats (minimum two people per team). With a mix of top-class performance, aquatic spectacle and plenty of surprises, the atmosphere is set to be exceptional!
An evening in the spirit of the ‘Fête de la Musix’
As every year, a major fancy dress theme takes centre stage. The day will continue in a festive atmosphere with a grand banquet for the competitors (fancy dress recommended) and an evening of concerts to celebrate music overlooking the lake.

9.00 pm: Le Club des Îles
11.30 pm: Grand fireworks display
11.45 pm: Bonkito
2.00 am: KEB surprise
Practical information: Car parks and catering facilities are available in the immediate vicinity to make access easy and ensure you can make the most of the weekend.
