A night of stars!

An astronomy-themed event as part of the Night of the Stars, sure to delight budding astronomers and anyone with a curiosity for the skies.

Our galaxy is made up of no fewer than 100 billion stars, and we can see 6,000 of them with the naked eye if conditions are right.

One day, two events!

On Wednesday 12 August, Arnaud Fougeu, an astronomy enthusiast, will be running fun and interactive activities and workshops for the whole family.
Through a variety of activities and observations, young and old alike will be able to understand and appreciate the immensity of the universe.

And from 7pm to 11pm, at the Gurp, enjoy a special evening observing the starry sky as you discover the heavens, the stars and the hidden wonders of space.
Don’t miss the Night of the Stars, a free event open to all!
