A journey to the heart of the marine world!
How about we take you to the seaside! Welcome to the little aquatic circus. Feet in the water, head in the clouds.
In this zany ocean parade, there are… tightrope walkers in swimming trunks. The cream of the sunscreen. Life buoys galore – azure blue, coral red, green and soft ones, fully inflated ones… a lifeguard who’s way too big. A tiny little swimmer. An acrobatic swimming lesson. A fake drowning.
A strange menagerie: sea fleas, a wobbly crab, a laughing seagull, old sea dogs, lacquered ducks, clownfish, frogmen and even… a near-leviathan. A boat that’s full of hot air. Two pitiful pirates. A storm that laughs and farts. A tragicomic shipwreck.
Here is the great hullabaloo of the deep sea, the trail of starfish. A dive into the depths of the imagination to swim, light as a feather, in happiness.
This show for children and families explores, with humour and imagination, that delightful yet sometimes slightly unsettling world: the sea. Blending circus, burlesque theatre and poetry, the show revolves around the swimming ring. This childlike aquatic object, suspended between water and air, fragile yet reassuring at the same time, is explored in various forms: object theatre, circus apparatus, imaginary sets…
