Ciné en Courts

From the evening of Thursday 24 September until late morning on Sunday 27 September 2026, at the Océanic cinema in Soulac-sur-Mer: the 86th edition of the Ciné-en-Courts Festival.

The Ciné-en-Courts Festival is a national French event dedicated to amateur filmmaking, organised by CinéAmat France. It has been held for the past 10 years at the Océanic cinema, with the support of the Soulac-sur-Mer local council.
Aure ATIKA will be the patron of the 11th CINÉ-EN-COURTS in SOULAC-SUR-MER, and will honour the official opening of the festival with her presence on Thursday 24 September.

No fewer than 70 films, selected from the eight regional CinéAmat France events, will be screened from Thursday 24 September at 9.30 pm until late afternoon on Saturday 26 September at the OCEANIC cinema in Soulac-sur-Mer (free admission subject to availability)

Thursday 24 September: 9.00 pm: Opening ceremony
In the presence of Mr Xavier Pintat, Mayor; Ms Dominique Dubourg, Deputy Mayor for Culture; and members of the town council.
Speeches by Mr Xavier Pintat and Aure Atika, patron of the Festival.
Screening of the film ‘La belle époque des bains de mer’ (The Golden Age of Sea Bathing), directed by Jules Lambert using postcards by Jean-Paul Lescorce (In the early 20th century, sea bathing was all the rage in Soulac-les-Bains…)
Introduction and presentation of the jury by Allain Ripeau, President of CinéAmat France.
From 9.30 pm to 11 pm: Screenings from the Ciné-en-Courts Festival

Friday 25 September: From 9.00 am to midday, from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm and from 9.00 pm to 11.00 pm: Screenings as part of the Ciné-en-Courts Festival at the Océanic cinema, open to all

Saturday 26 September: From 9.00 am to midday and from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm: Screenings as part of the Ciné-en-Courts Festival at the Océanic cinema, open to all

Sunday 27 September: 10.30 am: Awards ceremony attended by the Sub-Prefect and the Mayor or his representative.
