On Wednesday, August 26, starting at 6:30 p.m., the town hall invites you to the Place du Pôle in Carcans-Maubuisson for a Latin dance workshop and a concert by the Melting Pot orchestra at 9:30 p.m.
With over 30 years of experience and hundreds of concerts under its belt, the group presents its “Tropical Show,” a festive performance featuring Latin rhythms. Salsa, cha-cha-cha, merengue, cumbia, mambo, and bachata will set the tone for the evening.
Through its compositions and arrangements, Melting Pot invites the audience on a journey from Cuba to Puerto Rico, via the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, and New York.
Singers, musicians, and dancers will share all the energy of this generous and lively big band in a warm atmosphere that will have the audience eager to hit the dance floor.
