On Friday, November 6, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., join us at the Salle de l’Estran in Carcans-Maubuisson to experience “D’un pinceau à l’autre 2.0,” a pictorial comedy by Claude Philip, presented by the theater companies Les Tréteaux de Saumos and Un chien sur le toit.

In this new version of the show, works of art break their silence to come to life on stage. Drawing on famous paintings, the actors imagine what might be unfolding behind the gazes, gestures, and scenes frozen in time by the painters.

The audience is thus taken on a theatrical journey through some thirty masterpieces, in a performance that is by turns funny, sensitive, and poetic. Depending on the scene, we enter the mind of a painter, step into the shoes of a model, or see through the eyes of a visitor standing before a work of art.

Unexpected dialogues, offbeat situations, intimate revelations, and emotions offer a fresh interpretation of paintings by artists such as René Magritte, Bernard Buffet, Fernand Léger, Gustave Courbet, and many others.

A performance that blends theater, painting, and imagination, inviting you to see works you thought you knew in a whole new light.
