Concert Voix d'or Slaves

"Voix d'Or Slaves" concert at the Basilica in Soulac-sur-Mer.

Two opera singers with golden voices: a soprano and a bass, both graduates of leading Russian and Ukrainian music academies with prestigious careers and track records.

Olga Stolyarova, a graduate of the St Petersburg Conservatoire, had taken part in several international tours (USA, Finland, Germany…) before becoming one of the most renowned performers of Russian and Gypsy romances.

Valéry Orlov, a former member of the Red Army Choir, pianist and composer, a graduate of the Odessa National Higher Conservatory, is taking up the torch from Ivan Rebroff and becoming his successor in Western Europe.

These two soloists will take you on an unforgettable musical journey featuring the most beautiful Slavic songs and melodies from around the world, blending bel canto with tradition.

During this concert, you will have the opportunity to discover traditional instruments, notably the legendary balalaika, the queen of Russian music, presented by Tatiana Zolotoukhina.
