On Tuesday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Maison du Combattant in Carcans is hosting an escape game centered around authentic artifacts that have been forgotten for more than 80 years.
Conceived three years ago, this immersive experience invites visitors to step back in time and discover the story of Private Leist through recovered artifacts, which are on special display before being returned to his family in Germany.
Combining investigation, remembrance, and emotion, this event offers a unique way to explore history with family or friends. The experience also draws inspiration from the book *Revenir du silence* (Returning from Silence), which recounts this remarkable story.
