European Heritage Days – Tour of the bunkers.
On Sunday 20 September 2026, the European Heritage Days will feature a guided tour of the bunkers.
Free tour, subject to booking at your Médoc Atlantique Tourist Offices.
The Poche du Nord Médoc Historical Society is offering a guided tour of the Batterie des Arros. A pre-war French battery that became a German stronghold from 1940 onwards, this site is home to numerous structures and ruins that are well worth a visit.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes – Suitable for ages 8 and over.
Departure at 9.30 am – Meet at the PGVS station. Please bring a torch and wear closed-toe shoes.
