From Saturday 22nd to Friday 28th August 2026, the chapel will host a duo of painters.

Viviane GRONOWSKI, a much-loved local painter, will present her works exclusively, on the theme ‘From black and white to colour’.

This marks Jean-Claude PAPOT’s first exhibition at the chapel; he is a watercolourist who pays tribute to the Médoc, the ocean and the estuary, the picturesque landscapes of the ‘mattes’, not to mention the colourful huts of our old oyster ports. He will also be sharing his experience of working with glass and jewellery-making.

The works will be on display at the Chapelle de l’Hôpital from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Free admission.

An opening reception is scheduled for Saturday 22 August at 6.30 pm.
