Fête de la Saint Jean

On June 20, from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., join us at Place du Foirail in Carcans for a festive, friendly day full of new discoveries!
The Saint John’s Day Festival is held every year on the summer solstice to celebrate the longest day of the year!

Come enjoy a festive, musical, and friendly day celebrating Saint John’s Day! On the program: activities for all ages, artistic discoveries, live music, and, of course, the traditional Saint John’s Day bonfire to bring the evening to a spectacular close.

A day dedicated to sharing and togetherness

Starting in the morning, browse through the flea market organized by the Les Parents de Ci de Là association. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., bargain hunters and enthusiasts can search for unusual items, forgotten treasures, and unexpected finds.

Art and craft enthusiasts can also explore the exhibitions presented by the BVCM, Zénith, and Je Te Vois associations. Paintings, sculptures, crafts, and original creations will showcase the talent and creativity of our local artists.

Activities for the whole family

Young and old alike are invited to step into the magical world of puppet theater presented by the Troupe des Marioles from the Jean Gasnier Museum. A show full of poetry, humor, and imagination that will delight all ages.

Sports enthusiasts can try their hand at pickleball or hone their skills during the tournament organized by the Carcans Tennis Club. This fun and dynamic sport is attracting more and more fans and promises plenty of great moments of togetherness.

In the afternoon, Club Ambiance will offer a dedicated space for board games. It’s the perfect opportunity to get together with family or friends for some friendly games in a cheerful atmosphere.

Live music all day long

The festival will feature several musical performances. At lunchtime, Pedro Laluña will provide the soundtrack to your meal with his warm, inviting music. In the mid-afternoon, Les Carcoustics will take the stage with their energetic acoustic covers.

At 6:30 PM, the municipality will host the traditional reception, featuring music by Melting-Groove, before giving way to the grand festive evening.

Starting at 8:00 PM, the Festival Committee and AJC33 invite you to enjoy a delicious sardine feast in a friendly atmosphere. The evening will continue on the dance floor with DJ Francky at the controls.

The highlight of the day: the traditional Saint John’s Fire will light up the church square starting at 9:30 p.m. The party will then continue with music until 1 a.m.
