"GYBB" Walking Tour

On Friday, August 21, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and then from 8:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., come enjoy a free performance by G.Y.B.B., a roaming marching band that will fill the streets of Carcans-Maubuisson with the rhythms of its Balkan-inspired repertoire, infused with flamenco and jazz influences.


Composed of six experienced musicians from Aquitaine, G.Y.B.B. is first and foremost an adventure born of a beautiful friendship. Accustomed to performing in various groups or leading their own artistic projects, the members of the collective have chosen to bring together their musical worlds, their energy, and their shared passion to create a lively and decidedly festive brass band.

The group features Damien Bacher on the sousaphone, Franck Vogler on trumpet, Cyril Dubilé on trombone, Jean-François Laborde on drums, Valentin Foulon on alto saxophone, and Éléonore Balsamo on guitar. Together, they form an original and infectious ensemble, capable of transforming the streets into a veritable open-air dance floor.

As they wander through the streets, the musicians will perform classic Balkan music standards, rearranged by Valentin Foulon. The rich sounds of brass will blend with flamenco rhythms and jazz influences to create a repertoire designed exclusively to get the audience dancing.
