As part of European Heritage and Matrimoine Days, the Carcans City Hall invites you to join us on Friday, September 18, at 6:30 p.m., at the Salle de la Bugade in Carcans-Ville, for a lecture on the history and evolution of the Médoc coastline.

Led by Didier Coquillas, who holds a Ph.D. in Ancient and Medieval History, this event invites you to travel back in time to understand how the coastline has evolved over the past 6,000 years. From coastal shifts and changing landscapes to the traces left by the centuries, discover another facet of the history of the Médoc and its region.

A fascinating lecture to gain a deeper understanding of the landscapes we know today… and how they have been shaped over time.
