The CVBCM is pleased to announce that it will host the 2026 Hobie Cat European Championships in Maubuisson, on the shores of Lake Carcans-Hourtin, from August 21 to 28, 2026.

For one week, the best European and international crews will gather in an exceptional natural setting to share their passion for competitive sailing and compete in high-level regattas. Combining performance, camaraderie, and the spirit of the Hobie community, this event promises to be one of the highlights of the 2026 season.

The race schedule will allow each fleet to enjoy dedicated days under optimal conditions:

August 21: Welcome and registration of competitors
August 22–24: Hobie Cat 16 Youth and Hobie Dragoon
August 23–24: Hobie Cat 16 Qualifiers
August 25–28: Hobie Cat 14 and Hobie Cat 16 Finals

Renowned for its steady winds and vast expanse of water, Lake Carcans-Hourtin offers an ideal playground for competition. Surrounded by pine forests and equipped with facilities designed to welcome sailors and the public, the Maubuisson site has everything needed to make this edition an unmissable event.
