Lake Festival

This summer, let yourself be swept away by the magic of the Fête du Lac on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Carcans Maubuisson, starting at 9 a.m.

Come experience the unique atmosphere of a village in celebration, on the shores of Lake Hourtin-Carcans, France’s largest natural lake. An exceptional event where nature, music, and a warm, friendly atmosphere come together to offer unforgettable moments with family or friends.

Carcans Maubuisson transforms into a true summer paradise, with a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

Schedule for the day:

9:00 AM to 11:30 AM: Nordic Walking with the Corps Activ’ Association
Introductory session from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by a walk around the lake (ages 15 and up, or ages 10 and up when accompanied)
Registration the day before at the Maubuisson Tourist Office; limited spots available.

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM: Access to the inflatable castles
Registration required the day before from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on-site / 15 minutes per child
Location: Les Acrobates Beach Club

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Introduction to Polynesian canoeing with the Médoc VAA 33 association
Registration: on-site starting at 10 a.m.
Location: Montaut Beach, next to Force 7

10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Ride on a water slide pedal boat at Force 7
No reservation required / 30-minute time slots
Location: Force 7

10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Baby water skiing for children ages 4 to 8, organized by the Bombannes Water Ski Club
Registration the day before at the Maubuisson Tourist Office / 10 children per hour

10:30 AM to 11:00 AM: Children’s carousel and bumper cars
30-minute slots

11:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Canoeing introduction

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Street music with the “Bokale Brass Band”

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Marine environment tour on the Echo 90, organized by the CVBCM

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Baby water skiing for children ages 4 to 8, organized by the Bombannes Water Ski Club
Registration the day before at the Maubuisson Tourist Office / 10 children per hour

5:30 PM: Beach volleyball tournament with the CAP33 team
Location: CAP33 Event Area, lakeside

6:00 PM–8:00 PM: Street performance “The Harlequin and Her Bubbles”

6:30 PM–8:30 PM: Street music performance with “Bokale Brass Band”

7:00 PM – 7:15 PM: Urban dance show presented by the Step By Step dance school

9:30 PM – 2:00 AM: Dance party hosted by DJ MEGA MUSIC
