Le Sentier de la Berle : un Sentier Naturellement fun !
Take the family on a journey to discover the hidden treasures of the flora and fauna in the woodlands and marshes of Lacanau! The Berle Trail, open all year round, offers a fun and easy nature walk. Fancy breathing in the fresh air and following the tracks of otters, wild boars and other wildlife? This 2.5 km trail, dotted with viewing platforms and wooden footbridges overlooking the marshes, offers 360° views to admire the natural beauty of Lacanau Lake. The trail consists of a loop, a forest path and a viewing platform by the lake. To start your adventure, it’s simple: put on your trainers or boots (in winter), and head to Rue du Bourg-Sud in Lacanau town. An information board welcomes you at the entrance, and ‘observation points’ will guide you along the route. Want to find out more?
