La Vélodyssée is one of the most emblematic routes, offering a unique experience along the Atlantic coast.

In the footsteps of the pilgrims
The Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela
The Médoc Atlantique is criss-crossed by historic sections of the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela, notably the Voie Littorale. From Le Verdon-sur-Mer, via Soulac-sur-Mer, these routes allow you to walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims of yesteryear, while discovering the cultural and natural heritage of the region. The Chapelle Saint-Jean-Baptiste de l’Hôpital is one of the witnesses to this history, offering walkers a spiritual and historical stop-off. Don’t forget to stop by the Tourist Office to stamp your credencial !

The incredible family treasure hunt
Tèrra Aventura is an original walk, a treasure hunt over a few kilometres that lets you discover the area, the local heritage and anecdotes, all while playing games.
Download the app and set off along the Médoc Atlantique routes in search of the Poï’z! On a route accessible to all, clues, local stories and puzzles to solve will lead you to the famous cache.
- Tèrra Aventura in Soulac-sur-Mer : Jusqu’à la fin des Terres – 3km walk through the streets of the town to 500 villas.
- Tèrra Aventura in Lacanau : Ziclou des rails in Lacanau – 15km cycling between forest, lake and ocean on secure cycle paths to discover the seaside resort.
- Tèrra Aventura in Hourtin : Yes, it’s a paradise – 2km walking along the shores of the lake in Hourtin Port.
- Tèrra Aventura in Le Verdon-sur-Mer : All along the route, enjoy views of Cordouan. If you have them, bring binoculars !
- Tèrra Aventura at Carcans-Maubuisson : Gold rush in the woods! – Join Zouch on an adventure to discover the shores of the Carcans-Maubuisson lake !
