Ocean Ride surf school
Ideally located on the seafront in Lacanau-Océan, Ocean Ride Surf School offers a very simple setting for groups to organise themselves: direct access to the beach, a view of the spot and a central meeting point.
An offer adapted to all levels within a group
Ocean Ride offers group or private surf and bodyboard lessons, either per session or as a course, from beginner to advanced. Instruction is provided by a team of state-certified instructors, with progressive teaching methods and individualised advice, both on the beach and in the water.
Children's packages (useful for intergenerational groups)
During the summer, the school offers courses dedicated to younger children, including the "Jardin des vagues" (5-7 years old) and "Kids" courses (8-11 years old), with adapted equipment and extra supervision.
Equipment and facilities on site
The school provides a regularly updated range of boards (foam and resin) and wetsuits. Equipment hire is also available for independent surfers.
Group bookings and opening period
Group rates apply for groups of 8 or more, making this an easy activity to include in a hen/stag party or team-building programme. The school is generally open from the last weekend in March until the end of the autumn half-term holidays (April to November, depending on the year).
