Octobre Rose

Pink October, in Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac, takes place on 10 and 11 October.

Parents, children, young and old, come and join us for a fun and supportive event! Together against breast cancer.

Proceeds will be donated to the LISA charity, the Aquitaine Breast Institute, and the Rose Médoc charity.

On the programme:

- Saturday 10 October:
Pétanque tournament – organised by La Pétanque du Centre, from 2.00 pm at the boulodrome, €1 per game, refreshments available on site.
Bingo – JDL Festif Association, multi-purpose hall, doors open at 6.30 pm, bingo starts at 8.30 pm, €2 per card, €10 for a set of 6, food and drinks available on site.

- Sunday 11 October – Richard’s Lighthouse – from 2 pm to 6 pm
Test drives in vintage cars, sale of merchandise and sweets with the Hippie Killer Car Club (HKCC).
Craft activities, organised by Les petites mains Jovisiennes and Les Griffes du cœur 33.
Cycle rides, organised by the Jovisienne Cycling Association.
Pony rides, organised by the Ecrin d’Equi-libre Association.
Climb up the lighthouse to tie a pink ribbon, organised by the Richard Lighthouse Community Association.
Fun obstacle course with hands tied or in a wheelbarrow, and a coconut shy, organised by the HASE Association.
Classic nail polish application, by Amandine from the Douceur de beauté Institute (Vensac).
Pink braids, by Séverine from Kika Tif’ salon.
Sale of pins and shopping trolley tokens, by the LISA Association.
Sale of handmade ribbons and bookmarks.
Crepes on sale by Nathalie.
Cotton candy on sale.
Refreshments.
