Pirogue Festival

The traditional canoe festival will take place at Le Moutchic on the shores of Lacanau Lake on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June 2026.

The Pirogue Festival is a must-see event that celebrates Polynesian culture with craft exhibitions, authentic cuisine, and traditional entertainment and dance. Visitors can also try their hand at paddling a pirogue and watch thrilling va’a races. A total immersion in the world of Polynesia that is not to be missed!
