The 14th Hourtin Globe Challenge, organised by the CNHM, will take place on Saturday 1 August 2026, setting sail from Hourtin Port, pontoon A.
This major sailing event will bring together regatta enthusiasts, amateur crews and experienced sailors for a friendly sailing challenge on Lake Hourtin. Over the years, the Hourtin Globe Challenge has become an unmissable summer event for lovers of sailing and competitive sailing.
Programme for the day
Crews welcome from 10.00 am
Confirmation of entries and safety briefing
Boat preparation and launch
Start of the regatta in the morning
Sailing and course on Lake Hourtin
Return to the port and social gathering at the end of the day
Free for CNHM members
€15 per boat for non-members
Regatta open to cruising yachts and self-crewed boats
Compliance with safety instructions and race rules is mandatory
