Tèrra Aventura : Cordouan en Vue(s)

Tèrra Aventura is offering a tour full of discoveries around emblematic sites such as the Cordouan lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in France still in operation and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located off the Gironde estuary, this "king of lighthouses" is only accessible by boat and offers a unique spectacle combining history, architecture and an unbeatable view of the ocean (access and visit not included in the route). The route also takes you past the Pointe de Grave, at the northern tip of the Médoc, where the Atlantic Ocean meets Europe's largest estuary. This remarkable natural site is a unique vantage point from which to watch the ships entering the estuary and, on a clear day, offers a great view of Royan and Cordouan. Nature lovers will love the wild landscapes, fine sandy beaches and dunes dotted with coastal vegetation. Don't forget your binoculars for a closer look!
