Cinéma l'Escoure, Avenue de l’Europe, Lacanau-Océan, 33680 Lacanau

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., the Lacanau-Océan movie theater is hosting an event for children ages 3 and up, featuring a puppet show, a screening of the short film program “Le Monde à l’envers,” and a complimentary snack.

The event will begin with “L’Heure du chat,” an 18-minute puppet theater performance presented by the Compagnie Soria. Two cat lovers will share their memories and discuss with the audience their special bond with these little four-legged companions.

Next up is a film screening of “Le Monde à l’envers,” a 45-minute program featuring six short films. Through sensitive and imaginative stories, the films explore difference and the unique perspectives of childhood.

From Rémi, the little mouse who lives upside down, to Sacha and his experience with inclusion at school, to Lina who flies away with a sweater, and Lily who makes the moon sneeze, this program invites children to see the world in a new light. Amid fantastical worlds, transformations, and offbeat situations, the stories offer a poetic journey guided by characters who live and dream in their own unique ways.

To wrap up this gentle afternoon, light refreshments will be served after the screening.

A family-friendly event that combines live performance, film, and imagination in a program suitable for children ages 3 and up.
