Tour des Lacs
It left for a tour of the largest freshwater lake in France! Picnics are in backpacks, bicycles are properly inflated, sunscreen is in place we went for a bike day exploring Lake Carcans-Hourtin! Departure Maubuisson, we follow the Lake Boulevard on the bike path, the lake is still beautiful! City Carcans direction. The bike path is flat and well maintained rolling! Arriving at Carcans, we turn left towards Hourtin, we are before a long straight line is not discouraged !! After an hour we arrive at Hourtin and pay the port management to agree a swim on the beach lifeguard. Swimming and small snack, Hourtin beach is ideal for swimming and swim! We leave to Hourtin beach, lunch will be at the edge of the lagoon Contaut, it seems that it is beautiful! The bike path is a little more diverse, it goes up, it goes down, we see pretty chaineraies vegetation and change regularly.
