Upcycling Workshop – “De Fils en Liens” with La Sorga
On Saturday 7 November, from 9:30 am to 12 pm, La Sorga is offering a sewing workshop dedicated to upcycling. Participants will create a practical tea towel holder using recycled textiles, at the Pôle de l’Aiguillonne in Lacanau-Ville.
This session is an opportunity to discover the principles of upcycling and give existing materials a second life by turning them into a practical and original accessory.
Participants are asked to bring:
one honeycomb cotton tea towel;
one button approximately 2 cm in diameter;
two matching pieces of cotton fabric, 20 × 30 cm each;
their own sewing machine and sewing equipment.
Please note: participants must bring their own sewing machine and know how to use it. The workshop is intended for people who are comfortable using their machine independently and is not a sewing class.
Depending on the time available, several tea towel holders can be made during the morning.
A friendly workshop to share skills, practise sewing and discover a new way of giving everyday textiles a second life.
