The Université Musicale Hourtin Médoc invites you to experience a timeless evening of music with ‘Labyrinthe Baroque – When Handel Meets Maraghi’, on 3 July at Hourtin Church. An original and refined recital bringing together mezzo-soprano Anousha Nazari and guitarist Antoine Morinière.
This concert offers a unique encounter between the treasures of the European Baroque repertoire and Eastern influences, creating a subtle dialogue between the worlds of Handel and the medieval Persian composer Abdolqadir Maraghi.
In the majestic setting of Hourtin Church, the warm and expressive voice of mezzo-soprano Anousha Nazari will blend with the delicate playing of Antoine Morinière, a guitarist renowned for his refined interpretation of early music. Together, they will present a rich and varied programme, showcasing works by Purcell, Handel, Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and Dowland.
