Musical'Océan: ‘The Golden Age of Jazz’

The Musical’Océan Festival will take place from August 20 to 22 and from August 24 to 26, 2026, at the Salle l’Escoure in Lacanau-Océan.

In the heart of summer, Lacanau transforms into a musical hotspot with the Musical’Océan Festival, a must-attend event for lovers of classical and world music. This festival, both sophisticated and accessible, brings together the great works of the classical repertoire with contemporary compositions and exceptional international artists.

On Saturday, August 22, the concert “The Golden Age of Jazz” will take place at 9:00 p.m.:

Benjamin Dousteyssier, saxophone

Edouard Pennes, double bass

Stefano Lucchini, drums

With his energy, his free-spirited playing, and his immense mastery of the saxophone, Benjamin Dousteyssier brings the spirit of the golden age of jazz back to life.
A tribute to the great figures of bebop—from Charlie Parker to the legends of American jazz—in a concert of rare intensity, driven by swing, creativity, and improvisation.
