The Hourtin walking trail
This trail forms a large loop around the village of Hourtin, connecting the districts of Cante-Alaude, Pey de Camin and the vast forest areas surrounding the town. It offers a real immersion in the typical landscapes of the Atlantic Médoc, between pine forests, agricultural clearings, forest tracks and the lakeside atmosphere near Lake Hourtin-Carcans.
From the very first steps from the centre of Hourtin, walkers gradually leave the hustle and bustle of the village behind and enter a quieter world, punctuated by birdsong and the scent of maritime pines. Very quickly, nature reclaim its rights.
