The Palus Loop
The village of Queyrac, situated on the banks of the estuary, offers a variety of landscapes combining forests, vineyards, meadows and marshes. This route invites you to explore the diverse flora and fauna surrounding this small village. Among the village’s treasures, its church, built at the end of the 19th century, stands out. It replaced an old 12th-century Romanesque church, the stones of which were reused in the new building. Under the direction of the architect Bonnore, work began in 1896 and the church was inaugurated in April 1901. Its elegant structure stands above the vineyards of the Médoc. This walk allows you to discover a variety of landscapes, plant and animal species for an enriching experience in the heart of nature.
