AOC Médoc et Haut Médoc

Nestling between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde estuary, the Médoc and Haut-Médoc vineyards benefit from a unique terroir shaped by nature and man. The estuary moderates the Atlantic climate and enriches the soil, providing ideal conditions for the vines. The forest also plays an essential role, protecting the vines from the sea winds and contributing to a favourable microclimate.

For centuries, winegrowers have shaped these landscapes, draining the marshes, developing the forest and cultivating the vines. Today, their know-how is expressed in wines that are accessible and varied, and suitable for a wide range of tasting occasions.

The vineyards lie at the heart of the Médoc Regional Nature Park, a symbol of the region's rich heritage and natural beauty. Proud of this heritage, it is resolutely committed to the future: from 2023, 100% of the estates producing Médoc and Haut-Médoc AOC wines will be certified under a recognised environmental scheme (Organic Farming, High Environmental Value, Biodynamic Farming, Terra Vitis, AREA, etc.).

A blend of heritage, passion and respect for the environment, the wines of the Médoc and Haut-Médoc embody the perfect harmony between an unspoilt region and the people who bring it to life.
